Tots/Pre-school: Drop-in Program For ages 18 months to 5 years Friday mornings 10:15 - 11:00 a.m. No pre-registration is required. Please note:Maximum attendance for the programs in the story room is 34. Admittance is first come, first serve.

Homework Club:
Volunteer tutors help students with their homework. If you would like to volunteer as a tutor please apply at the library. It's fun and rewarding. If you have a child who needs help, come in or call the library. Tuesdays from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.

The Church of St. Mark and Calvary    
 

We would like to welcome you to St. Mark and Calvary (Anglican)
Church, 21 Blackthorn Avenue, just north of St. Clair between Caledonia and
Keele.

We gather for worship on Sunday at 10:30am and on other special days
throughout the year. Please feel free to join us. We also gather for
social occasions- suppers, coffee hours, and fundraisers which help us

We share our space with other non-profit community organizations.

If you are a non-profit group interested in renting office or meeting room

Since we are a registered charity, we issue income tax receipts for all
donations. Having said that, we would like to meet all those who support
our ministry and celebrate what has been given.Our church is wheelchair accessible and has a free parking space for those gathered to praise God or simply to use church space.

DAVENPORT-PERTH Neighbourhood Centre is a multi-service agency located in the west end of Toronto. DPNC encourages people to work together and take action to improve the political, social, economic, spiritual and cultural life of the whole community. Working in partnership with other community and City-wide organizations, they provide people in the community with support and a wide range of flexible, responsive and barrier-free services to help them effectively manage the issues, concerns, or problems that arise in the community.

Some of the services and programs that are available at DPNC include health services, settlement services for newcomers, immigrants and refugees, literacy services for adults, early years programs for families with children aged 0-6, children and youth programs, adult services (housing, mental health support, dealing with addictions, etc.) and seniors services.

They also have an on-site Employment Resource Centre where anyone can access computers, internet, fax machines, and phones; staff are also available to assist with resume writing, and supporting people to job search and career plan. You can reach DPNC at (416) 656-8025 to get more information.

The Earlscourt Youth Centre is open Monday through Sunday 6:15 pm - 9:45 pm for youth between the ages of 13-24 years of age and is located at 1200 Lansdowne Ave. (between St.Clair Ave. W and Davenport Rd.).

We run a drop in program with free access to pool tables, T.V. and music. We also run a Thursday night Hip Hop and Break Dancing program and Friday night Free styling program beginning at 7:00 pm.

Hip Hop Culture Nights at the Earlscourt Youth Centre
Every Thursday Night: Free Hip Hop Dance Nights/Classes, 7pm at the Earlscourt Youth Centre. These events are all FREE FREE FREE. So feel FREE to send this e-mail out to people who are interested.

The Stop is a community food centre that provides programs and advocacy to support people with their food and social needs. The Stop is committed to building healthier communities through food access programming such as: community dining, kitchens and gardens, nutrition and support for pregnant women and a food bank. We believe that food is a basic human right. We focus on the ways food can bring people together to break down social isolation and improve their quality of life.
